What patterns along the trail appear out of place? What are we looking for?
At the start of the trail is an illuminated treasure chest resting on a stump. The chest is locked with a 5-digit code and a riddle:
"seek seven fish of stone. a secret they have known
but too long they've had to wait, for someone to rehydrate.
then to open up this chest. use a bird of reddish breast
or archer of fabled tale, and this code you will unveil."

COMMUNICATE & ANALYZE
What do we have so far? What do we know?
Ok, we found all 7 stone fish hidden along the trail and they are numbered 1-7... We need this to translate to a 5-digit number that will open the locked box. We also have more of this riddle!

COLLABORATE & SYNTHESIZE
What are these clues trying to tell us? How can we put them together in different ways to get a new meaning?
The riddle says they've been waiting to be rehydrate... let's get them wet!
When wet, each rock reveals a different letter!
if we order them 1 to 7, they spell RAINBOW!
I'm pretty sure "bird of reddish breast" and "archer of fabled tale" are referring to ROBIN! The letters in ROBIN are also in RAINBOW!
