Build skills in friction fire and an appreciation for the attention required to generate a spark, a coal, or a flame using match, flint and steel, hand drills, and bow drills.
SHELTER BUILDING
Incorporate how to build tarp shelters, debris huts, and lean-to shelters. Learn about the basics of sustainable forest harvesting and the process of weather and waterproofing.
ARCHERY & STEALTH
Challenge your dexterity in stealth and build your skills and accuracy in archery or axe throwing activities.
KNIFE SAFETY & FORAGED CRAFTS
Learn to create from found items in your environment, whittling, carving, weaving, molding natural clays, and using natural pigments.
ANIMAL TRACKS
Learn about wildlife tracking & behavior! Interact with specimens and understand ecology, natural history, evolution, and comparative anatomy!

Identify native and invasive plants in our region! Understand their natural history and medicinal & edible uses! Make your own field guides!
